Our approach
We believe that:
ADHD coaching should be both nuanced and rooted in a sound approach to both the science and lived experience of ADHD. Coach training should take into account what we know about ADHD, but also be comfortable with what we don’t.
Learning to listen and get out of the way as a coach helps us create a meaningful and flexible space for a client, able to work with what they’ve brought.
Learning about how our own brains work helps us provide a mirror for our clients’ experience, whatever our neurotype.
A coaching qualification should be relentlessly practical - the theory is best learnt by doing.
Meet your course leader
Chris Fraser PCC
ADHD Coach, supervisor and founder of SOAC
ADHD Coaching changed how I work with my ADHD - and started me on my journey to becoming a coach. I’ve used all of the experience I’ve gained in over a thousand hours of ADHD coaching, as well as my background in teaching and finance, to bring you the best of what works for my clients - and my ADHD.
I’ve set up a coaching practice with my associates at The ADHD Workshop, as well as being a trained supervisor and mentor coach for other ADHD coaches.
I trained as an ICF accredited ADHD coach in the US based school ADDCA, and as a supervisor at the ICCS.

Don’t take my word for it
Praise from our first cohort
An outstanding training experience from start to finish. The course combines robust, evidence-based learning on ADHD with a thoughtful exploration of different coaching approaches, all held by Chris and Emma’s highly skilled, experienced, and compassionate facilitation.
The programme offers rich learning and fresh perspectives both for people who are new to coaching and/or ADHD and those who are more established in their practice. What truly sets it apart is the strong sense of community and psychological safety within the group, creating a supportive space for curiosity, reflection, and meaningful development.
I would absolutely recommend this course. It delivers high-quality teaching and resources, excellent facilitation, and a genuinely safe environment in which to learn, explore, and grow as a coach.
Nana Meulengracht Larsen
Founder & Transformative Coach, Whole Life Balance
The SOAC course has been fantastic. As a coach and someone navigating ADHD myself, I’ve found it incredibly reassuring, informative, and inclusive. The content is practical, the approach is thoughtful, and the sense of community makes you feel truly supported. It’s been invaluable both for my professional growth and for understanding ADHD from a lived-experience perspective.
Fem de Jong
Inner Garden ADHD & ND Coach
This course was genuinely transformative. As a therapist, I loved learning a coaching approach that’s forward-focused and empowering.
The ADHD insights were practical, compassionate, and grounded in real experience. I’m leaving with tools that truly work for how ADHD brains operate.
Nyree Hughes
Art therapist and ADHD Coach
Taking this course turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. It’s rare to find something so thoughtfully designed and delivered with such genuine care and passion.
Having done several ADHD-related courses before, this one stood out as the most comprehensive and helpful. It’s genuinely transformed how I connect with clients, inviting deeper reflection, awareness, and collaboration. Alongside that, I’ve learned so much about my own ADHD.
Chris and Emma’s warmth and the camaraderie with fellow students made the course thoroughly enjoyable. I was concerned about the time commitment but I found myself looking forward to every session - it even became a highlight of my week! I initially joined thinking it would simply inform my hypnotherapy practice, but it’s inspired me to take things further and I now fully intend to pursue ADHD coaching. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone.
